Homeschool Gym 2026
We are excited to offer Homeschool Gym Time, designed to give children an opportunity to learn how to play different sports, exercise, socialize, and build relationships with their peers. To help make each session enjoyable and focused for everyone, we have divided the program into two age groups.
Children ages 5 through 8 will meet from 10:45AM to 11:30AM.
Children ages 9 through 13 will meet from 11:30AM to 12:15PM.
We ask that families remain downstairs while their children participate in their session. The Rec. Room is available for you to enjoy this time for yourself or with your other children while you wait. Before your child's session, children are welcome to have a snack at one of the Rec. Room tables, read books from the Literacy Volunteers' free bookshelf, or enjoy the air hockey, foosball, and ping pong tables. We kindly ask that parents and children use the space respectfully and clean up after themselves.
At the start of each session, our staff will meet the children downstairs. We will then head upstairs together as a group, take attendance, and begin the session. Please do not allow children to go upstairs until our staff has made their way downstairs and gathered the group.
Please be sure to review the schedule carefully, as there are 25 session dates throughout the program. A paper copy of the schedule will also be available at the first session.
